Safeguarding
The team wants to ensure the wellbeing of all those who serve and attend The Globe Church to make certain that the church is a welcome and safe place.

Activities
The safeguarding team oversees all things related to safeguarding. This can include writing and maintaining policies or conducting DBS checks on those working or volunteering with children or vulnerable adults.
The team is also on call to respond to safeguarding issues that may arise within the church to ascertain what next steps may be required.
How the team works
The team meets monthly to pray and discuss all matters safeguarding.
This will involve a discussion of any safeguarding issues, updates to policies, training that may be required and structures and processes that need to be put into place to help the church remain well safeguarded.
Typical Commitment
Once a month meetings and adhoc support to safeguarding concerns.
You must be a church member to serve on this team.
