Church family is just that – family. So we love for children and families to be a part of our church.
Sunday Children’s Groups
We have two groups for children,
- Globe Tinies – children aged 0-3
- Globe Minies – children aged 4-9
Minis and Tinies meet during the sermon – the rest of the service we stay gathered as a whole Church family.
Minis and Tinies is crafted especially for children, with a focus on teaching them more about who Jesus is and what that means for them. A typical session involves Bible teaching, games, singing, craft, sport, and play – all designed to help them see the person of Jesus in the Bible.
We recognise that bringing young ones to church can be hard, we’d love to hear from you if there’s anything we can do to help. Particularly if we can support with any additional needs your children may have. Some of our leaders work in SEND and we would love to support your children where we can.
Youth Work
Currently, children above the age of 9 stay in the Sunday service for the sermon.
If your son or daughter would benefit from meeting up with someone to read the Bible, we have a number of DBS checked volunteers who would love to come alongside teenagers in a way that supports them and shows them Jesus.
Parents Group
Once a month we run an online discussion for parents in our church. In this time, we work through a Christian book about family life, thinking about how it can help you to be a family that honours Jesus in everything you do. It’s also a time of prayer and connecting with one another. You can contact the church office to get involved.
Who should I speak to?
Our Minis and Tinies Team wear pink lanyards each Sunday, so if you’re looking out for someone to talk to at a service, they can help.
If you want to talk more broadly about families work at Globe you can speak our Serving Team Leaders for Minis and Tinies, Beth and Issy. To contact them, send an email to info@globe.church.
