We are keen to find out what Paul means when he talks about the greatest gifts. We like the sound of those. But Paul deliberately leaves us hanging. A massive change needs to happen in our thinking. The Corinthians were constantly shouting, “Look at what we are doing”. Paul responds, “But look at the way you are doing it”. The way of love matters more than any gift you can imagine.
