It is good to step back and take a look at where we have been. The church in Corinth is a mess – but the root problem is that the message of Christ Crucified has been pushed out. When that gets lost then wisdom becomes impressiveness (chapters 1-4), freedom becomes immorality and idolatry (chapter 5-10) and spirituality becomes individuality (chapters 11-14).
