The Globe Church

I started following Jesus from a young age. I remember calling out for forgiveness when I was 7 or 8, and later on, choosing to give him my whole life, whatever lay ahead. At that point, my faith was like the outline of a drawing, and God has been filling in the colour ever since, as He’s helped me to work out what this faith in Him looks like to live out each day.

After university, I spent a year volunteering as a Relay Worker for UCCF. This gave me my first taste of ministry, and I loved getting to see people’s lives changed by Christ in the day-to-day. Since then, I have worked as a physiotherapist in 16 different NHS departments and have loved that my work has included engaging with all sorts of people, from newborn babies to elderly ladies!

I had a significant injury a few years ago, and God massively used this, and the time afterwards, to bring home to me the fundamental truth that Jesus really is alive and working today, alongside the deep heart knowledge that, at the end of it all, this is all that matters. I genuinely believe that life to the full is found in knowing Jesus. That’s why I am excited to be a ministry trainee at Globe. I’m looking forward to spending time getting to know Him better and helping others do the same!
