It was at university that I realised I had been saved by the death of Jesus Christ. I didn't grow up in a Christian home and when I heard about Jesus I wanted to know more about Him. I threw myself into events put on by the Christian Union and slowly and steadily started to grow and deepen in my faith. Studying Biology at university, my knowledge of God helped me to grow in my love and understanding of His creation, particularly fish. Anyone who knows me knows how much I love fish!

Whilst I was initially tempted to continue my academic studies, I felt that I needed to devote some time to God and working for Him and His church. When I found Globe, and the truly amazing community of people that are here, I realised that it was where I was supposed to be. Having a whole year of working in this church feels like a huge blessing and I am so excited to be getting stuck in as a Ministry Trainee.
