I grew up believing all the right things about Jesus and trying to do all the right things He required of me…or so I thought! Jesus saves people who don’t know they are lost and that’s what He did for me.
I was raised in a religious home where we went to church weekly; I read my Bible and prayed often. I thought I was on the path to eternal life.
During my time at university, profoundly unaware of my need for the gospel, I heard the simple gospel through a close friend. It took some time for that truth to sink into my heart, but once it did, it completely transformed my life. God graciously gave me understanding of His love and mercy and I began to more deeply appreciate His gift of grace!
After university, I worked as a doctor for several years but I often considered getting involved in Christian ministry. I wanted to help others see the truth of Christianity with more clarity! At the right time, God opened the door for me to become a ministry trainee at The Globe Church. I’m so excited for the journey ahead.
