Being raised in a loving home in South East London that would identify as part of the Ethiopian Orthodox Church, I was aware Jesus died for my sins but didn’t understand the weight of my sin until later in life. I lived a life of indifference until out of curiosity I visited an Evangelical church, started to attend regularly and heard the gospel. There I gave my life to Christ. Since then, I’ve had a relationship with Him and strived to know Him more.
I joined the Church after a recommendation and haven’t looked back since. I love The Globe Church as I have felt welcomed from the beginning. People have always been kind, honest and gracious towards me. My walk with Christ has improved immensely since I’ve been here through the preaching, focus groups and fellowship. I’m very grateful that God’s grace and providence has allowed me to be a member of this church.
In my spare time, I’m a huge sports fan, a lover of The Arsenal Football Club (fortunately or unfortunately, whichever way you want to look at it!) and spend a lot of time with family and friends.
